Normally in bedrooms we would go around beds, dressers, and night stands. Their  is no reason to move those items because they never get foot traffic, but last weak a customer had a spill which went under dresser, so yes I did move and clean under. Dinning rooms I tell customers not to spend time emptying their hutch and just go around. Family and living rooms I will ask what you want moved, and if their is anything you just want to go around. Everything moved will receive plastic or styrofoam blocks to prevent rust or furniture stains.

THEIR CALLING FOR RAIN AND IT’S DAMP, SHOULD WE POSTPONE MY CARPET CLEANING FOR A NICE DAY?

Tuesday and today, two customers wanted to postpone for a nicer day. I told them both Trust Me, the carpets will be dry. Customers fear on rainy, damp, or humid days the carpet will never dry. Both days started these jobs after 1:00 and completed rooms on second and first floor. All the carpeting felt dry when I left.

Most of the “dirt” found in our carpets is tracked in by us and our pets. This insoluble “dry particle soil” consisting of mostly sand, clay and quartz is easily removed through regular vacuuming. If this dry soil is left to build up underfoot, the grit constantly rubs against your carpet fibers like sandpaper. First, it removes the stain resistant coating on the fibers. Next, it permanently scratches fibers, dulling the carpets color. At this point, you can clean the carpet, but the beauty of your carpet in those areas is damaged beyond repair.
